As a Recruiter at CAE Australia, you will help us rapidly grow across several different departments in our new Sydney, Australia office.  This position will work closely with the members of CAE’s Senior Management Team based out of the USA headquarters, as well as other managers and colleagues across CAE’s offices in North America, Europe, and Asia. The Sydney-based recruiter will focus primarily on staffing positions within the Sales, Trading, Logistics, Data Analytics, and Software Engineering departments for the Sydney office.  All of CAE’s offices operate under the same CAE brand and are integrated with each other.  Working at CAE means that you will collaborate with colleagues in each of our offices every week.  CAE currently has office in the following locations:

North America:

  • Austin, TX (HQ)
  • New York, NY
  • Los Angeles, CA

Europe:

  • Budapest, Hungary
  • Zurich, Switzerland

Asia / Australia:

  • Sydney, Australia
  • Seoul, Korea
  • Singapore, Singapore
  • Taipei, Taiwan
  • Wuxi, China
  • Shenzhen, China
  • Nanjing, China
  • Shanghai, China

 

Responsibilities:

  • Directly source for key talent through LinkedIn and other professional networking sites, web searches, social media, job boards, referrals and industry associations.
  • Build talent pipelines and relationships with candidates for current and future opportunities.
  • Proactively conduct research and investigate new ways to find passive candidates.
  • Utilize and maintain accurate records in our applicant tracking system (ATS) in order to track and report candidates.
  • Review resumes and contact active and passive candidates; comfortably communicate with them about CAE.
  • Conduct first round phone screens.
  • Schedule and manage phone and onsite interview process.
  • Organize and attend recruiting cocktail events and dinners.
  • Keep all job postings up-to-date; act as a social media expert to build brand awareness and attract highly talented professionals.
  • Maintain a positive candidate experience by answering questions and communicating expectations.
  • Other assigned duties as needed.

 

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of corporate or agency recruiting and sourcing experience.
  • Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems.
  • Familiarity with Boolean searches, social media, and other sourcing strategies.
  • Passionate about creating a positive candidate experience.
  • Excellent customer service, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Skilled in all Microsoft Office programs including Outlook.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to communicate and connect to a broad range of people.
